Description

This was a commissioned painting and is mostly fictional butwhich I hope captures the essence of the Yorkshire Dales in the UK. The mill and river do not exist in this particular scene. Nor does the foreground wall. The tiny house midway along the right-hand edge of the painting is owned by the commissioner, who was adamant that I paint in hi9s DB9 (a sports car). It measures approximately 3 millimeters and caused me all kinds of problems. But that's what happens when you get commissioned. SOLD
